The Martinez MCG-48C is a beautiful classical guitar with a Spanish neck joint construction. This means the heel consists of a single piece of wood. Less glue is needed, which greatly benefits the sound transmission as it allows the wood to vibrate more freely.

Tone woods

At Martinez, only the finest, carefully selected tone woods are used for the construction of their instruments. The Martinez MCG-48C has a solid top, made from the best Canadian cedar. This popular tone wood is known for its warm, pleasant and full-bodied sound. Both the back and the sides of the body are made out of sapele wood, while the fingerboard is rosewood.

The scale length of 650 mm feels instantly familiar, and the top nut is 52 mm wide. This makes for a very comfortable playing experience. The gold plated machine heads ensure smooth and precise tuning.
